The meeting of O2OESG and Sustainism Initiatives representatives with the executives of Clean Mahanakhon Co., Ltd.

A delegation from international environmental and sustainability organizations led by

  • Mr. Petch Praphakittikul from AFMA (Agricultural and Food Marketing Association for Asia and the Pacific) and as Director of Sustainism Initiatives (STNSM) , a sustainability policy agency in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO – UN) together with

  • Mr. Phonphon Chaowirakit from O2OESG

Met with Ms. Phurita Angsuwan, CEO of Clean Mahanakorn Co., Ltd., to discuss collaborative approaches to developing a " Sustainability Demonstration Project " that will be presented at the global forum to the United Nations by 2026.



🌱 Purpose of the meeting

This discussion aims to:

  • Study the waste management system of Clean Mahanakhon Company

  • Analyze the concept of the " Benefit-Sharing System, " a social innovation that enables all employees in the waste collection process, from drivers, back-row boys, waste sorters, and management, to receive mutual benefits in an equitable and transparent manner.

Representatives from O2OESG and STNSM saw the system as a " roots-based approach to sustainability ," reflecting key principles of the Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) and demonstrating a concrete example of how the "economy, society, and environment" are interconnected.


🌍 Collaboration on the world stage

During the discussions, it was agreed that the Sustainism Initiatives (STNSM) and O2OESG will collaborate with Clean Mahanakhon Co., Ltd. to produce a case study report titled " Benefit-Sharing Sustainability Model " for use at the O2OESG Forum @United Nations 2026.

Ahead of next year's big event, Clean Mahanakhon will be invited to participate in the important "Climate and Sustainability Capital Forum @United Nations" on October 21, 2025, as a representative organization from Thailand presenting the concept "Because all parties benefit the most, sustainability can truly be achieved."
